Focus on vineyard work in May:
Laboure and disbudding

🌿 What does vineyard work look like in May? Here’s a video glimpse from our Bellerive vineyard!

🚜 On one side, our teams are ploughing the rows of Souvignier Gris. This soil work has many benefits: it breaks the surface crust, improves soil aeration, and promotes better water infiltration. It also stimulates biological activity and soil life, enhancing the vine’s nutrition. Mechanical ploughing naturally controls competing weeds and cuts the vine’s surface roots, encouraging it to dig deeper into the ground! 🌱

🤚 In a nearby plot, young Souvignier Gris vines are being manually debudded.
This involves removing unnecessary buds and shoots to ensure optimal sap distribution and better quality grapes in the future! 🍇
